You Won't Find a More Patient and United People than the Residents of Yerevan, Marutyan

This year, we have accomplished our tasks and have even done more. This was mentioned by Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan during a conversation with reporters after lighting the main Christmas tree on Republic Square on December 21.

“To be honest, for example, the rapid and thorough resolution of the waste collection issue in just one year is a great achievement. If you look at the cities of developed countries with populations over one million, it takes years to resolve such problems fundamentally. I do not attribute this solely to the municipality's staff; I attribute it to everyone, to the residents of Yerevan.”

“Because you won't find a more patient and united people in the world than the residents of Yerevan. People around the world would react differently to all this, but the residents of Yerevan patiently waited and not only waited, but helped every day to resolve this issue.
