Putin to Provide CIS Countries with Copies of World War II Documents
Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed that copies of archival materials related to the history of World War II be provided to the CIS countries. As reported by “RIA Novosti,” during an unofficial summit of the leaders of the CIS countries, the Russian leader discussed these archival materials and subsequently invited them to visit a specially organized exhibition.
Putin has tasked the head of the Russian Federal Archival Agency, Andrei Artizov, with providing these documents to the leaders of the CIS countries. It is noteworthy that the unofficial summit of the heads of the CIS member states was held in St. Petersburg, with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also in attendance.
