Investigation Closes Case of Davit Sanasaryan's Extortion Related to Child Incident

Davit Sanasaryan announced on his Facebook page: "I want to inform that today the investigation body of Erebuni has closed the extortion case related to the child incident. I want to clearly state that there were two testimonies regarding the extortion fact in this case, which according to the investigator, were not sufficient grounds for bringing charges. However, in the 'well-known case' by the Anti-Corruption Committee, two incomplete and fabricated testimonies were deemed sufficient to bring charges against me, resulting in my status as a defendant and my powers being suspended.

Along with my lawyer, we will still discuss whether to appeal the investigator's decision. My goal was not to harm that woman, but I reported a crime only to prevent the unacceptable and illegal act she committed and to set an example for others.
