Armenia and Russia's Legislators Evaluate the Dynamics of Bilateral Relations Positively

The legislators of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation have positively assessed the dynamics of the relations between the two countries. This was stated by Ruben Rubinyan, the chairman of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, during a press conference following the joint meeting of the committee and the Federation Council's Committee on International Affairs of the Russian State Duma held on December 18.

“During the meeting, we addressed the situation in the South Caucasus, as well as international security. We also discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Armenian-Russian relations, and inter-parliamentary relations. I must note that we have assessed the dynamics of Armenian-Russian relations positively,” Rubinyan said.

Konstantin Kosachev, chairman of the Federation Council's Committee on International Affairs, indicated that their cooperation is continuously evolving. The joint meeting held on December 18 was the fifth of its kind.
