The Mayor Mockingly Interrupts Council Members During Their Speeches: Edmon Marukyan

“The mayor mocks and interrupts council members during their speeches,” Edmon Marukyan, the president of the Bright Armenia Party, stated today during a meeting with reporters.

“When the mayor was laughing at that speech, did he show any footage? No footage was shown. Because of this, people perceive it as if the council member is getting upset out of nowhere. Have you taken a picture of the mayor, who was roaring with laughter? If you want feedback, the mayor mocks a council member that no one saw. The mayor mocks and interrupts council members during their speeches,” Marukyan said.

It is worth noting that the Bright Armenia Party is currently discussing whether to recall its only member in the Yerevan Council, Davit Khajakyan, and the appropriateness of his continued activity in the council.
