A Walking Man Sculpture by Arto Chakmakchyan to Be Installed in Yerevan

A Walking Man sculpture by renowned artist Arto Chakmakchyan will be installed in the area adjacent to Abovyan Street on Northern Avenue. This information is provided by the Yerevan municipality.

The master’s works are displayed in squares and museums around the world, while the sculptor has always dreamt of having one of his creations in Yerevan. As early as the early 2000s, Arto Chakmakchyan was promised that the Walking Man sculpture would be placed on Northern Avenue.

Today, the Yerevan Council approved the decision project. The costs for casting and installation of the statue will be covered by the Ministry of Education, Science, Sport, and Culture of the Republic of Armenia.
