VIDEO: Bag Stolen from Store in Yerevan

Measures are being taken in the investigative department of the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district of the RA Investigative Committee to identify the person who secretly stole someone else's property in significant amounts. This was reported by the Investigative Committee.

According to preliminary data, on October 10, 2019, a resident of Yerevan reported to the Central Department of the RA Police that between 18:15 and 18:30 on 10.10.2019, an unknown person secretly stole her bag from the showroom of a store on Freedom Avenue in Yerevan with the intention of stealing someone else's property. The bag contained a bank card, a wallet, gold and silver jewelry, and other personal items, causing significant property damage.

In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated at the Central Department of the RA Police under Article 177, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code, and the case has been forwarded to the investigative department of the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district of the RA Investigative Committee.

During the preliminary investigation, video footage from the surveillance cameras in the store showroom has been obtained, which recorded the person committing the crime. Measures are being taken to identify the individual captured on the video.
