Video: Wall of House Collapses Due to Fuel Truck Overturning - New Details
On December 8, at 09:32, the "911" service received a call reporting a traffic accident on Armenakyan Street in Yerevan, involving a fuel truck that crashed into a wall and overturned, resulting in a fuel leak.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations' website, three firefighting teams from Yerevan's Rescue Service and the emergency response group of the National Center for Crisis Management were dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that a "GAZ-53" vehicle, driven by Harutun A., had left the roadway and collided with the wall of house number 121 on Amaranotsyan Street, causing the wall (approximately 5 square meters) to collapse and the iron gate to be completely torn off. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
With the assistance of special equipment, the vehicle was righted, and following the cessation of the fuel leak, it was approached by a tow truck. Rescuers carried out cleaning operations on the road using firefighting foam and maintained vigilance at the scene.
