VIDEO: Kornidzor Community Head Embezzles Over 4 Million 960 Thousand Drams

Operative information obtained by the Goris division of the police has revealed facts regarding illegal activities in the Kornidzor community.

The police's public relations department states that according to currently known data from the investigation, the head of the Kornidzor community was appointed as the president of the association of livestock breeders in the community based on a falsified protocol in 2016, thus securing himself as the only paid employee of the association.

Subsequently, 12 units of agricultural machinery acquired for community needs have reportedly been used for personal purposes. Specifically, between 2017 and 2018, various works were carried out in farmland belonging to him and other individuals using the agricultural machinery owned by the community.

In addition, during the aforementioned time frame, the head of the Kornidzor community signed a contract with the Tegh community for waste management and embezzled over 4 million 960 thousand drams received for the work done.

A criminal case has been initiated by the Goris division of the police based on the prepared materials, on the grounds of particularly large-scale embezzlement or misappropriation and forgery, selling, or using forged documents. The case has been forwarded to the Goris investigative division for further inquiry.
