Video: Individual Who Assaulted and Threatened MP's Friend Arrested

On December 9, Armenian National Assembly MP Karen Sarukhanyan made a post on his Facebook page, stating that hours earlier, two individuals had assaulted his friend in Gyumri and threatened that he would be the next victim.

A report regarding the incident was received at the Mush police station in Gyumri. Officers from the station conducted operational and investigative measures to determine the identities of those involved.

A 30-year-old man known by the nickname "Sheko," a resident of Gyumri, was located and brought into the Mush police station around 10 PM.

A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of hooliganism, and the detained individual has been arrested. As a result of explanatory work, another individual—a 23-year-old resident of Gyumri—voluntarily presented himself to the Mush police station on December 10. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
