URGENT. VIDEO. Over 10 million drams embezzled from the 'Ajapnyak' charitable foundation

Based on operational data received by the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes Department of the RA Police, factual evidence has been obtained regarding the misdeeds of the director of the 'Ajapnyak' charitable foundation.

According to currently available information from the investigation, the director of the mentioned foundation embezzled a total of over 1 million 960 thousand drams from the funds allocated for the renovation of one of the kindergartens located in Ajapnyak in 2016.

Furthermore, between 2012 and 2016, with the foundation's resources, events were financed at various restaurant complexes with the participation of the Yerevan Municipality and the Ajapnyak administrative district, resulting in damage of 8,970,000 drams to the foundation.

During the preparation of these materials, the director of the foundation has reimbursed over 10 million 930 thousand drams worth of damage to the foundation.
