Video: Headlights Stolen in Yerevan
The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia is taking steps to identify the individual responsible for the significant theft of someone else's property in the Center and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan. According to preliminary data, on September 6, 2019, a resident of Yerevan reported to the Central Division of the Armenian Police that between 23:50 on September 5, 2019, and 08:30 on September 6, an unknown person, using technical means, stole the pair of headlights from his parked car on Buzandi Street in Yerevan, causing significant property damage.
A criminal case has been initiated by the Central Division of the Yerevan Police under the first part of Article 177 of the RA Criminal Code and forwarded to the Investigative Committee's Center and Norq-Marash Investigative Division. During the pre-investigation, recordings from security cameras located in the vicinity of the crime scene were obtained and reviewed, showing the individual who committed the apparent criminal act.
In order to ensure a comprehensive, objective, and thorough investigation of the criminal case, measures are being taken to identify the person who committed the apparent crime. We urge the said individual to present themselves to the conducting authority or anyone who recognizes them or has any information regarding their identity or whereabouts to notify the Center and Norq-Marash Investigative Division of the Investigative Committee in Yerevan.
