Explosion Occurs in One of the Houses on Abovyan Serob Street in Yerevan

On December 5, at 11:00, a call was received by the 911 service reporting that an explosion was heard near one of the houses on Abovyan Serob Street in Yerevan. This was stated by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

A fire and rescue team from the fire and rescue department of Yerevan has been dispatched to the scene. According to preliminary data, the explosion occurred due to a gas buildup in the kitchen of one of the houses. A resident of the house, 26-year-old Elen K., sustained burns to her hand and was hospitalized at Armenia Medical Center. Windows of the house and the rear windows of a parked car were damaged.
