On December 4, at 10:48 AM, a call was received by the '911' service informing that stray dogs had mauled ostriches at an ostrich farm near the village of Norabats along the Masis-Ejmiatsin highway.
The emergency response team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. At the ostrich farm located at the 4th km of the Masis-Norabats highway, 25 ostriches were killed and 8 were injured.
