Man Stabbed at Nightclub in Kapan, Later Dies

On December 3, a 26-year-old resident of Kapan, Robert Hayrumyan, died in the hospital.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, he was transferred to Kapan Hospital on November 27 with severe bodily injuries, including a stab wound to the left side of the chest, a laceration on the top of the head, and internal bleeding, sustained in the area of the "Cherment" nightclub located on Spandaryan Street in Kapan.

While doctors were fighting for his life, investigators from the Syunik regional department of the police and the investigative committee identified that a financial dispute had erupted between Robert Hayrumyan and 31-year-old Vardges Hayrapetyan from Kapan, during which Hayrapetyan inflicted the injuries on Hayrumyan.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Syunik regional investigative department, and the investigation is ongoing.
