Major Accident: Car Goes Off Road and Slides 10 Meters into a Ravine

The Ministry of Emergency Situations’ news service reports that on December 3 at 11:33 AM, the "911" service received information about a traffic accident near the village of Apnagyugh in Aragatsotn Province. A car reportedly went off the road and fell into an adjacent ravine.

A team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that an "Opel Vectra" (driver: Hamlet G.) had gone off the trafficable section of the road near the 46th km of the Margara-Vanadzor motorway and slid about 10 meters into the ravine. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Rescuers managed to recover the vehicle from the roadway.
