Driver Leaves Road and Rolls Over: One Injured

On December 3, a major traffic accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 09:10, a resident of Varsan village, 45-year-old Sasun S., lost control of his VAZ 21140 with license plate 35 GT 158, veering off the roadway and rolling over, as reported by Shamshyan.com.

As a result of the accident, three passengers, who were fellow villagers of the driver, sustained injuries and were transported to 'Sevan' Medical Center. They are 26-year-old Arsen S., 24-year-old Shahana S., and 24-year-old Alvard S.

Quickly responding to the scene were officers from the 1st platoon of the 4th company of the 2nd police battalion, led by platoon commander Edgar Suslyan and company commander Vruyr Gabrielyan. Senior investigator Bakur Saribekyan from the same company conducted the investigation at the scene and initiated documentation regarding the incident.

The information about the accident was relayed to the Masis Division of the police by Yura Hovhannisyan, the responsible officer of the Traffic Police's 1-77 operational management center, from where an operational group arrived under the leadership of division chief Vigen Aghekyan.
