Body of 55-60 Year Old Man Discovered in Prowshyan with Face Completely Mutilated

On December 2, a tragic incident occurred in the Kotayk province. Around 12:00 PM, the Kotayk regional police department received a report about a male body found in a field area in the administrative territory of Prowshyan village. Police discovered the body of a 55-60 year old man in the field, his face completely mutilated.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, investigators from the Kotayk regional investigative department of Armenia's Investigative Committee, led by the head of the department and senior investigator Koloyan specializing in particularly important cases, are currently conducting an examination of the scene.

According to preliminary findings by the forensic expert, the cause of death appears to be sudden death.
