Haik Martirosyan Becomes Bronze Medalist in Iranian Chess Club Championship

Member of the Armenian men's chess team, Haik Martirosyan, has won the bronze medal in the Iranian Club Championship. Martirosyan represented the 'Persepolis' team, which secured third place by accumulating 15 points after 9 rounds.

The first and second places were shared by 'Saifa Tehran' and 'Zob Ahan Isfahan' teams, both with 16 points each.

Haik Martirosyan has been a member of the national team since 2018. Last year, he became a grandmaster and also the champion of Armenia. He is the world champion for players under 16 years old.
