Euro 2020 Group Stage Draw Held
The draw for the group stage of the 2020 UEFA European Championship took place in Bucharest, Romania.
The following groups were formed as a result of the draw:
- Group A: Turkey, Italy, Wales, Switzerland
- Group B: Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Russia
- Group C: Netherlands, Ukraine, Austria, Playoff (winner of Georgia-Belarus, North Macedonia-Kosovo)
- Group D: England, Croatia, Playoff (winner of Scotland-Israel, Norway-Serbia), Czech Republic
- Group E: Spain, Sweden, Poland, Playoff (winner of Bosnia and Herzegovina-Northern Ireland, Slovakia-Ireland)
- Group F: Playoff (winner of Iceland-Romania, Bulgaria-Hungary), Portugal, France, Germany
The Euro 2020 playoffs will take place in the spring of 2020. For the first time in history, the championship will be held in 12 cities. A total of 24 teams will participate in the tournament, which is set to kick off on June 12 and conclude on July 12.
