Car Set on Fire in Abovyan Was Intentional: Arrest Made

On November 17, at 04:23, the Kotayk Division of the Police received a report from a resident of Abovyan city stating that their car was being set on fire. A response team was dispatched, and it was determined that around 03:50 on the same day, an unknown individual poured a flammable liquid on the engine hood of the reported "Toyota Corolla" and ignited it.

As a result of joint efforts by the Kotayk Regional Police and the Abovyan Investigation Department, a 45-year-old resident of Abovyan was apprehended on November 25 at 12:00. He confessed to igniting the aforementioned "Toyota Corolla" on November 11 at around 03:50.

The 45-year-old man has been arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
