VIDEO: Police Detain Pickpocket on Tumanyan Street

On November 22, the Central Police Department received a report from a man stating that his wallet, containing cash and bank cards, had been stolen from his pocket on bus number 50 on the same day.

Officers took appropriate measures to locate the pickpocket. Criminal investigation officers from the 6th Division of the Yerevan Police Department joined the efforts, and as a result of their collaboration, it was revealed that the theft might have been committed by a 21-year-old resident of Kapan.

On November 25, around 11 AM, the suspect was detained by the police on Tumanyan Street in the capital. He has provided a confession. Efforts are being made to recover the stolen property. Materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
