What makes him think that Henrikh doesn’t care: Mkhitaryan’s mother responds to accusations against her son

Mesrop Arakelyan, an advisor to the Prime Minister of Armenia, had commented on the situation in Armenian football on his official page, suggesting that Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the captain of the national team, should be stripped of his captaincy, claiming that he doesn’t care about the national team.

On this occasion, the newspaper "Zhoghovurd" spoke with Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s mother, Marina Tashchyan, who stated: "If he is making such statements, he should provide evidence for why Mkhitaryan should be deprived of the captaincy or what he has taken that leads him to believe that Henrikh doesn’t care about the national team. As for Mkhitaryan missing national team matches, we all know that the reason was an injury. It has been over a month since Mkhitaryan has been injured, and he has just started to recover now. If Mesrop Arakelyan makes such baseless statements, then he is not only unaware of football but also lacks competence in his job."
