VIDEO: The 'Choyt' Suddenly Appeared, Said the Main Share of the Factory is Mine: A Citizen
Today, on November 22, a protest organized in the Yeghenut community of the Armavir region has concluded. In an interview with NEWS.am, local resident Vardan Margaryan shared that staff members of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) wish to sell the equipment of the reinforced concrete structures factory.
“I own 30 percent of the ‘Betartshin’ LLC. When the factory was privatized in 1996, I became an owner of 500 vouchers, and after that, there were 70 workers at the factory. We were working, and Ararat Saribekyan was also a shareholder with me. In 2006, the notorious Hakob Hakobyan, known as 'Choyt,' suddenly appeared. He was powerful at the time and claimed that Ararat Saribekyan had been killed at a casino, and that the main share of the factory belongs to me,” he said.
