Three Cars Collide on Isakov Avenue, Injuries Reported

On November 21, at 20:57, the 911 service received a call indicating that an accident had occurred near the U.S. embassy on Isakov Avenue in Yerevan. Three cars were involved in the collision, with one person injured and a fuel leak reported.

Two firefighting units from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. It was discovered that the vehicles involved in the crash were a Mazda CX-9 (driver: Alexander H., born in 1953), a Mercedes C (driver: Aram H., born in 1992), and a Mercedes R (driver: Narek M., born in 1993).

Before the arrival of the rescuers, a passenger of the Mazda CX-9, Ernest H. (born in 1979), was hospitalized at St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center and later transferred to Armenia Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as seriously stable.

Rescuers disconnected the power supply to the Mazda CX-9 and Mercedes C, and performed cleaning operations on the roadway.
