Pashinyan Among Political Leaders with Most Active Facebook Pages

The international site ‘Twiplomacy’, which researches the use of social media by almost all heads of state and international organizations, has highlighted the activity of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Facebook, as reported by Armenian Time.

As is well-known, almost all of the Prime Minister's meetings are streamed live on his Facebook page. Regularly, photos and selfies with various political leaders or from different event venues are posted on the page, in addition to frequent ‘conversations with citizens’ on various issues.

In an article titled ‘World Leaders on Facebook’, it is mentioned that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is among the top political leaders in the world with the most active Facebook page.

“PM Nikol Pashinyan frequently informs his followers about the government’s activities through live streams directly from his car or office. Although the quality of the broadcasts may not always be the best, this direct engagement has become popular among followers, placing him among the world’s most active political leaders on Facebook,” the article states.

The list of the most active political leaders on Facebook is topped by Brazil's newly elected President Jair Bolsonaro, followed by US President Donald Trump, India's leader Narendra Modi, Palestinian leader Imran Khan, Indonesia's President Joko Widodo, Mexico's President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the White House’s Facebook page, Cambodia's leader Samdech Hun Sen, Colombia's President Iván Duque Márquez, and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
