The Damage to 'Dolmama' Will Be Assessed Once the Amount of Water in the First Floor is Determined: Details
The fire on the roof of the 'Dolmama' restaurant originated from a blaze in a neighboring building. This was stated by an employee of 'Dolmama' in an interview with armtimes.com.
According to him, the fire in the adjacent building started due to renovation work, although this is merely a hypothesis. The investigation is still ongoing.
When asked about the extent of the damage suffered by the restaurant, the employee responded that only a small part of the roof was burned. However, the amount of water discharged by the fire services and how much it will flood the first floor, along with any potential damage, can only be assessed tomorrow.
It should be noted that at 13:59 today, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report of a fire in the roof of a two-story building at the intersection of Abovyan and Pushkin Streets in Yerevan. The fire was contained by 16:08 and extinguished by 17:00.
