Pashinyan Emphasizes the Importance of Criminal Cases Against Current Officials
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in an Armenian-Italian business conference in Milan during his visit to Italy. Following his speech on Armenia's achievements over the past year, the Prime Minister took part in a Q&A session.
Pashinyan addressed the ongoing fight against corruption in Armenia: "Since the Velvet Revolution, we have launched a massive anti-corruption campaign, and numerous criminal cases have been initiated against former officials. However, I want to emphasize that several criminal cases have also been brought against current officials. This is very important because it demonstrates our intention to combat not only past corruption but also present corruption. It shows our very firm position to fight and weed out corruption from our country," said Pashinyan.
