VIDEO: Attempt to Remove and Steal Terminal in Yerevan

Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Yerevan City Police and the Kanaker-Zeytun Division prevented a theft incident involving a "Tel Sell" payment terminal on the night of November 18 on Dro Street. The criminal investigators received operational information indicating that three young men were planning to steal the payment terminal.

The suspects had removed the terminal and were attempting to steal it when the police apprehended them at the scene. The two suspects, aged 20 and 26, were taken into custody by the Kanaker-Zeytun Police Department.

During a personal search, one of the individuals was found in possession of a greenish, burnt residue in a vial resembling a narcotic, while the other was carrying a folding knife. Both items were confiscated for further investigation.

A report has been filed by the security officer of the "Tel Sell" company. Expert examinations have been scheduled, and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
