VIDEO: Armenian Car Catches Fire in Line at Armenian-Georgian Border

According to Sputnik Armenia, an extraordinary incident occurred last night at the Bagratashen checkpoint on the Armenian-Georgian border. One of the vehicles waiting to cross the border on the Georgian side suddenly caught fire and within minutes turned into a pile of ashes.

Reports indicate that the car belonged to an Armenian who was with his relatives at the time. Before the fire spread, the driver managed to exit the vehicle and attempted to grab some of his belongings, but it was in vain. There are no reports of injuries.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze within about half an hour. During this time, the border crossing was temporarily out of operation, most likely for safety reasons.
