Georg Kostanyan Compares Himself to Einstein, Says Kocharyan
Today, I noticed that Georg Kostanyan has no intention of returning to Armenia and presenting himself to the pre-trial investigation body. This was stated by Andranik Kocharyan, a deputy from the "My Step" parliamentary faction, during a conversation with journalists.
When asked where he got such information, Kocharyan replied, "I recently saw that he gave an interview, and it didn’t seem like he expressed any desire to come back." Kocharyan noted that Kostanyan compares himself to Einstein: "Georg Kostanyan is not the Prosecutor General who decides whom I will summon and whom I will not; now, if the pre-trial investigation body has questions related to him, he should come. There is no need to hide behind some famous aphorisms of Einstein, indicating that he is so important that he tries to compare himself with Einstein. The issue is not about reading books; it is about the individual bearing responsibility for their actions during their tenure. Now is the time; he should come and answer the questions of the pre-trial investigation body.
To the observation that there was also an intention to bring Mikhail Harutyunyan before the commission, Kocharyan responded: "I have always had such a desire, and I am trying to turn my intentions into reality. Mikhail Harutyunyan must return to the country where he served as Minister of Defense. A person who has worked as the Minister of Defense of Armenia, even for a second, cannot leave the country and go away without any explanation."
