Tandilyan Threatens Janjughazyan with Criminal Code
Speaking on behalf of the LHK faction in the National Assembly, MP Mane Tandilyan reiterated that the law and government decisions have established clear amounts for environmental and other expenses, which were not included in the 2020 budget.
This issue has been raised several times by Tandilyan, and Finance Minister Atom Janjughazyan, as well as today, responded that government decisions provide guidelines, but if the government itself decides otherwise when preparing the budget project, then it has justifications for that.
Tandilyan stated that these are apparent cases of violations, and they can provide legal solutions regarding abuses of their own powers, in which case even lawyers may not save the government.
“Therefore, Mr. Minister, I urge you again to eliminate this violation, otherwise we will be forced to impose certain fines, penalties, and liabilities as stipulated in the Criminal Code if this issue is not resolved in the National Assembly hall,” Tandilyan said, addressing Janjughazyan.
