Armen Sarkissian Hosts President of the Georgian Cooperation Foundation
On November 15, President Armen Sarkissian hosted David Saganelli, the President of the Georgian Cooperation Foundation. Also present at the meeting was David Papazyan, the General Director of the Armenian Fund for State Interests.
David Saganelli introduced the foundation's activities to President Sarkissian, noting that the aim of this state-established body is to support investors and to streamline various processes for them. The foundation also supports projects in the fields of energy, logistics infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, food industry and supply, real estate, and high technology.
It was mentioned that the directions for cooperation and possible collaborations have been discussed with the Armenian Fund for State Interests.
President Sarkissian welcomed the steps aimed at deepening cooperation with friendly Georgia, emphasizing that he is ready to provide all support for efforts aimed at mutually beneficial cooperation. “It is time for us to implement joint projects, to combine our strengths, have joint and qualitative products in high technologies, agriculture, or other fields, and to enter the markets of other countries. It is time for us, two neighboring and friendly countries, to be more active in this regard,” stated President Sarkissian.
The interlocutors noted that they see great potential for cooperation in agriculture, high technologies, the food industry and supply, tourism, and several other sectors.
