Reports of Threats Against MP Sent to Police

Reports in the media regarding threats made against MP Nazeni Baghdasaryan, who is serving as the related reporter for a draft law, have been sent to the police by the Office of the General Prosecutor for verification of the circumstances presented.

This information was disclosed by Gor Abrahamyan, an advisor to the Prosecutor General of Armenia, on his Facebook page.

Previously, it was reported that individuals close to the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) MP Vardan Ghukasyan urged Baghdasaryan, a member of the 'My Step' parliamentary faction, to withdraw from the draft law that aims to criminalize involvement in criminal subculture.

Baghdasaryan confirmed this information in an interview with 'Haykakan Zhamanak,' referring to Prime Minister Pashinyan's statement from yesterday, that certain individuals, including MPs, had indirectly threatened the related reporter MP.

It should be noted that Vardan Ghukasyan has issued threats against Nazeni Baghdasaryan.
