Hraparak: Ghukasyan Threatened Gyumri Deputy and Provoked Anger from Pashinyan
According to the newspaper ‘Hraparak’, during a Q&A session with the government in the National Assembly yesterday, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, referring to the critical remarks of Prosperous Armenia party deputy Vardan Ghukasyan regarding the criminalization of involvement in criminal subcultures, threatened to roll out asphalt and slap on the walls everyone ‘who thinks that there will be compromises on this issue and who thinks that they can indirectly threaten the deputy reporting on this law.’
Our sources indicate that Pashinyan was referring to My Step faction's deputy Nazeli Baghdasaryan from Gyumri, who was threatened by Vardan Ghukasyan yesterday morning. Reports suggest that Ghukasyan hinted that the deputy does not even realize what awaits her after the adoption of this law.
In the early morning, government envoys raised the issue with Gagik Tsarukyan, where several deputies, initiated by Hovik Aghazaryan, attended a meeting convened by the Prosperous Armenia party and urged Tsarukyan to rein in his deputy.
It is no coincidence that during the Q&A session with the National Assembly, Pashinyan deliberately approached Nazeli Baghdasaryan and engaged in conversation for several minutes, showing that anyone dealing with her would have to deal with him as well.
