Court Has Retreated to Deliberation Room to Decide on Ara Vardanyan's Bail Hearing

The hearing regarding the appeal against the detention of Ara Vardanyan, the former director of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, concluded today.

This was confirmed by Vardanyan's lawyer, Ervand Varosyan, in response to a question from Haykakan Jamanak, adding that the court has retreated to the deliberation room to make a decision.

It is reminded that Ara Vardanyan has been charged with embezzlement and misappropriation. On October 9, the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan ruled to revoke Vardanyan's bail and instead apply detention as a measure of restraint.
