Scandal at the State Revenue Committee: The Brother of Prime Minister Pashinyan's Driver Fired After Offensive Remarks

The newspaper "Zhamanak" writes:

Recently, Zorik Avetisyan, the head of the Ararat Customs, who was previously an officer of the National Security Service and was considered a protégé of the chairman of the State Revenue Committee, Davit Ananyan, and his deputy, Gegham Saramazanyan, the brother of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's driver, were dismissed from their positions.

The reason for their dismissal was a phone conversation between the chief and the deputy, during which Saramazanyan expressed offensive complaints that only the top management at the State Revenue Committee receives bonuses.

Their phones were wiretapped, resulting in both being fired. Later, Prime Minister Pashinyan's driver managed to have the dismissal order for his brother annulled.

More details can be found in today’s issue of the newspaper.
