Fact: Authorities Are Aggressive Towards Opposition-Proposed Drafts
The "Fact" newspaper writes: Just like in the past, today, the overwhelming majority of the drafts included in the agenda of the National Assembly are presented by the government. However, there is another notable aspect in this regard: the authorities are pursuing an aggressive policy against the drafts proposed by opposition deputies and factions.
Moreover, various representatives of the government regularly voice that a significant number of the drafts approved by the National Assembly are from the opposition, but this is merely a facade. These are the drafts that are pleasing to the government's tastes, while the much more crucial and legally sound proposals from the opposition are simply being blocked by the government.
Furthermore, according to the newspaper's information, drafts rejected by the government are even "forbidden" to be discussed in the main committees, explicitly stating to "abstain from discussing the drafts." In the interest of fairness, it should be noted that this sad tradition has also existed in the past, and the new and so-called "revolutionary" government successfully continues this practice.
