I Stand with the Armenian Catholics of Qamishli, Praying for Them and All Christians: Pope Francis

Pope Francis has expressed his solidarity with the Armenian Catholics of Qamishli, Syria, following the murder of their shepherd, Father Joseph Petoyan, and his father. The Pope made this statement via a post on his Twitter account.

“I stand with the Armenian Catholics of Qamishli as they lay to rest their shepherd, Father Joseph Petoyan, who was killed yesterday, along with his father. I pray for them, their families, and all Christians living in Syria,” wrote Pope Francis.
