Court Hearing in the Case of Kocharian and Others Postponed: Next Session Scheduled for November 19

The hearing regarding the motion for the recusal of prosecutor Petros Petrosyan, presented by the defense of Armenia's second president Robert Kocharian, will continue on November 19 at 1:00 PM.

The motion for recusal was submitted by Kocharian's lawyers, Hovhannes Khudoyan and Hayk Alumiann. Earlier, Hovhannes Khudoyan had submitted a self-recusal motion for judge Anna Danibekyan, which was rejected.

It is noteworthy that Robert Kocharian is charged with overthrowing the constitutional order during the events of March 1, 2008. He is also accused of receiving illegal remuneration from a public servant who does not hold an official position.
