Video: Man Threatens Employee and Steals Cash Register Money in Yerevan

On November 9, detectives from the Arabkir division of the police detained a 33-year-old man from Yerevan on suspicion of robbery.

On the night of October 27, around 23:45, a report was received at the Arabkir police station that a man had entered one of the pharmacies on Azatutyun Avenue, threatened the employee with a knife, and stolen money from the cash register.

A criminal case was initiated in the territorial preliminary investigation body on the grounds of robbery. The Arabkir detectives, in cooperation with their counterparts from the police department of Yerevan, identified the person who committed the robbery after several days of diligent work.

On November 9, police officers found the suspect and took him to the station. He has been presented to the investigative department and arrested.

Efforts continue to locate the knife used in the crime and the stolen money. An investigation is underway.
