«Zhamanak». Government Decides to Add Another Holiday to the Existing List

«Zhamanak» newspaper reports that the government has presented a draft decision to designate November 28 as the day for special investigative service employees. The justification for the draft states that November 28 marks the founding day of the Special Investigative Service (SIS), and in Armenia, several other professional holidays are already observed: National Security Personnel Day on December 20, Rescuer’s Day on September 4, Prosecutor's Office Employee Day on July 1, Enforcement Officer Day on May 5, Investigative Committee Employee Day on October 8, Police Day on April 16, and Penitentiary Service Employee Day on October 19.
