Rescuers Extinguished Fire Near 'Hot Mountain' Resort

On November 8, at 16:20, the '911' service received a report that a grassy area was burning near the 'Hot Mountain' resort on the Vanadzor-Dilijan highway. An operational group from the regional rescue team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, along with one firefighting unit, was dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained by 19:18, with the affected area measuring 28 hectares. Due to darkness, firefighting operations were halted. Eleven employees from the 'Gugark Forest Enterprise' of the Hayantar SNCO have been assigned to duty in the area.
