Breaking: Priest of the Armenian Catholic Community in Qamishli and His Father Murdered

A severe crime has shocked the Armenian community in Syria today. According to "Arevalk," terrorists murdered Father Joseph Petoyan, the priest of the Armenian Catholic community in Qamishli, and his father, Abraham Petoyan, this morning.

The two were killed in Deir ez-Zor while on their way to provide assistance to several Armenian families living in the area and to inquire about the community's well-being. The Armenian priest and his father were shot at while traveling in their own vehicle. The deacon accompanying them was injured.
