Fortune Teller Woman Stabs 27-Year-Old Man; Victim's Condition Critical
Today, on November 8, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. At around 05:40, law enforcement received a call from the Erebuni Medical Center reporting that a citizen had been transferred with penetrating stab wounds to the right side of the abdomen and the right flank, along with damage to the blind intestine, thin bowel mesentery, and right kidney.
According to the information from Shamshyan.com, the police and investigators have identified the victim as 27-year-old Hakob Khachatryan, who, according to the doctors' statements, is unable to provide an explanation regarding the incident.
A criminal case has been initiated in the Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts' investigative department under Article 112, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code.
The police and investigators discovered that the crime was committed by 65-year-old Anahit Matevosyan, a resident of the Erebuni administrative district of Yerevan, who was quickly located and taken into custody by the Erebuni police, and subsequently transferred to the investigative department.
The incident occurred on the same day around 03:00 when H. Khachatryan, in a state of intoxication, visited A. Matevosyan's home with his companion and engaged in a loud conversation inside the house, suggesting that A. Matevosyan should 'see her fortune.' However, A. Matevosyan, who is known as a 'fortune teller' among her neighbors, reprimanded H. Khachatryan, which displeased him. He then directed insults towards A. Matevosyan, prompting her to grab a kitchen knife and stab him multiple times.
