Barely Rescued from the Clutches of Fire: Family Left Homeless
Earlier, we reported that a house was burning on the slope adjacent to Saralanj Street. Shamshyan.com has learned that the family members of the burning house found themselves on the street. In interviews with the media, both neighbors and family members stated that the house turned to ash within minutes. The house, located at Myasnikyan 17/1, is no longer suitable for living.
The family’s mother, 57-year-old Ms. Zhanna, her eldest son, 34-year-old Roman, his wife, 37-year-old Kristina, their 1.5-year-old son, Alexander, and the youngest son, 30-year-old Aran, are now homeless under the open sky.
“When the house was engulfed in flames, the pregnant daughter-in-law was inside, and the child was asleep in the bedroom. The daughter-in-law was able to somehow bring the child out through the fire and smoke, but unfortunately, the fire did its dark deed,” they said.
Citizens are reaching out to Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan, the acting head of the Central administrative district, and local entrepreneurs for assistance.
