Arman Sargsyan Visits Patrol-Guard Service Battalion, Emphasizes Discipline and Self-Education for Police Officers

On November 8, acting Police Chief Arman Sargsyan made a working visit to the Patrol-Guard Service Battalion of the police. Welcoming the officers, he highlighted the significance of the patrol-guard service within the police system, noting that the battalion's policemen perform an honorable service and that all outstanding officers will be recognized with appropriate rewards.

The acting police chief spoke about the service and discipline of patrol-guard police officers, urging them to engage in continuous self-education. He advised discussing specific examples and cases during training sessions, which would help officers provide high-quality professional service.

Arman Sargsyan met with a police officer who was injured while rushing to assist a citizen on the “Victory” bridge days prior, expressing gratitude for their dedicated service.

Following a ceremonial procession, the acting police chief, along with the leadership of the Yerevan city department and subordinate divisions, laid flowers at the memorial for police officers who lost their lives while fulfilling their duties.

Arman Sargsyan toured the battalion's premises, familiarized himself with the condition of police service vehicles and their technical capabilities, visited the shooting range, observed firearms training, and watched the practices of the special forces unit.

During the visit, Arman Sargsyan discussed service-related issues with the command of the Patrol-Guard Service Battalion.
