Trump Announces Upcoming Meeting with Erdogan

US President Donald Trump has reported a "very good phone conversation" with Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The discussion particularly revolved around the capture of militants from the Islamic State group by Turkish soldiers in northern Syria.

"I just had a very good conversation with the President of Turkey. He informed me that they have captured many ISIS fighters who, as reported, had escaped during the conflict (between Turkey and Syrian Kurds), including the sister and wife of the terrorist, murderer ISIS leader al-Baghdadi," Trump wrote on Twitter.

He confirmed that he will be meeting with Erdogan on November 13 in Washington.
