‘Joghavorut’. Discussions on Balasanyan's Topic Took Place at Closed Meeting with Pashinyan
‘Joghavorut’ newspaper reports that new details have emerged regarding the closed meeting between the ‘My Step’ faction in the National Assembly and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. In particular, our sources indicate that the issue of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was not overlooked, and the lawmakers expressed interest in the relations between Armenia and Artsakh, as well as the border situation.
The MPs' concerns were also related to statements made by Vitaly Balasanyan; however, according to ‘Joghavorut’, the Prime Minister was quick to reassure his party members, stating that there is nothing to worry about, that there is no tension between Armenia and Artsakh, and that the situation at the border is calm.
Moreover, addressing the upcoming presidential elections in Artsakh, Pashinyan declared that they would not interfere in any way, and the decision will solely be made by the people of Artsakh.
