David Tonoyan Meets with Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Garibashvili

On a working visit to Georgia, Armenia's Minister of Defense David Tonoyan met with Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Garibashvili on November 6.

According to the information and public relations department of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, the meeting addressed issues of cooperation in the defense sector between Armenia and Georgia, and the two sides exchanged views on the security situation and challenges in the region.

The defense ministers of the two countries emphasized the importance of developing cooperation towards strengthening regional security, and reached an agreement to expand collaboration in the defense field and include a number of new areas.
